Resorts World Sentosa's Kids Club
Because kids' butts deserve better bean bags
doob® bean bags came to rescue of the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) Kids Club. They were already using bean bags from another brand which unfortunately started coming apart at the seams after a few weeks. As the bean bags had no inner layer, we were told that there was a huge mess of beans from the leaking beans.
Parents will be reassured to know that with RWS' quick thinking, the Kids Club replaced all their bean bags with doob soopadoopas, which were made of durable and spill proof PVC leather, and an inner lining to reinforce the bean bags as well as act as an additional safeguard. The doob team is pleased to report that the bean bags are a hit with the kids, and that the bean bags are holding up very well with daily use.
The Kids Club is but one of several corporate customers catering to children. We are a Ministry of Education approved vendor and are also proud to be the bean bag of choice of educational institutions, both public and private, from primary schools to special needs classrooms to universities.
One teacher has shared with us the benefits of a bean bag in an educational context:
"For us, we use the bean bags for our students that have special needs. Some of them have sensory issues and using the bean bags helps to regulate their sensory needs.Some of them would sit in between 2 bean bags and hide inside as it give them a sense of protection and comfort. There are many more reasons why we get the bean bags but mostly it helps our students with autism that have sensory issues regulate.
It does help my students to calm down especially when they are having meltdown. They would either do what i mention above or punch it to release their anger.
Even the normal developing students like it especially when they are getting counseling. Its helps to relax them. They get to curl up and be comfortable as they talk to the counselor."
